UMW’s “On the Rocks” Series to Host Speaker Dr. Will Munger

Dr. Munger is both a rangeland scientist and range rider. He previously served as a postdoctoral social science researcher at the U.S. Sheep Experiment Station in Dubois, Idaho, and is currently working for the J Bar L Ranch in southwest Montana.

The “On the Rocks” series, hosted by Montana Western’s Environmental Sciences Department, features presentations from experts in fields such as geology, hydrology, history, and conservation. Free and open to the public, the series provides opportunities for students, faculty, and community members to engage with research and ideas that explore the connections between people and the natural world.

For more information about the “On the Rocks” series, please contact Dr. Arica Crootof, UMW Associate Professor of Environmental Sustainability, at arica.crootof@umwestern.edu.
