The Cheeki Skrub Scholarship was established by Isaiah Powell, a Montana Western graduate.  Isaiah was active in campus activities as a student and was an RA and member of the cross-country and track teams.  Following graduation, Isaiah continues to be involved at UMW by working in the Residence Life office as the Area Coordinator.

Isaiah shares, "My reasoning for offering the scholarship is that I want to give back to the University by rewarding the students who are a part of the things I was a part of as a student.  I lived on campus all four years and I believe that it is an integral part of the college experience."

Cheeki Skrub is Isaiah's nickname and is one that he enjoys.
