Joe and Rosemary Jordan established this scholarship becuas of their appreciation for college athletics and because their granson, Zach McCarthy, is a Athletic Trainer at Montana Western. 

The scholarship will be awarded annually to a student-athlete who maintains a 2.0 GPA, demonstrates motivation to pursue their education with the goal of graduating and deomonstrates financial need. The scholarship will rotate annually between Football, Women's Rodeo, Men's Rodeo, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball and Volleyball. After Volleyball is awarded in year six, the rotation will begin again with Football.
