Kovatch: James P. Kovatch and the Sons & Daughters of Montana Pioneers (SDMP)
Established by James P. Kovatch in honor of his commitment for the Sons & Daughters of Montana Pioneers organization. James was a Board Member with the Sons and Daughters of Montana Pioneers and an active member of the organization for many years. James passed on November 2, 2021 and will be fondly remember by Montana Western. He was passionate about Montana History and established this scholarship to help future History teachers receive their education at Montana Western.
The scholarship is awarded to a senior history education major attending Montana Western with a minimum GPA of 2.4 and has financial need.
Preference for connection to SDMP and military service.
