The scholarship is awarded to a full-time student in good standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0. This scholarship is awarded on the basis of leadership and mentor-ship with preference to student(s) involved in extracurricular activities, student senate, clubs and resident hall activities. A preference to a student(s) who shows a genuine attitude and outlook to better or improve the UMW campus. Also, a preference to a junior or senior who is involved with Special Olympics.
