Montana Western Announces Commencement Speaker Taylor Nahrgang

Nahrgang graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Montana Western and is an accomplished marketing professional with over a decade of experience in the Western, Work, and Outdoor industries. In addition to serving as the Director of Western & Work Partnerships at Ariat International, he is also a valued member of the company’s Marketing Leadership Team.

In his current role at Ariat International, Nahrgang is responsible for developing and nurturing key partnerships with stakeholders in the Western & Work industries. He has a talent for identifying opportunities for collaboration, strengthening brand awareness, and driving revenue growth through effective partnerships. Nahrgang’s career has been marked by his ability to work effectively with diverse groups and motivate them toward achieving common goals. He has a demonstrated track record of success in both the public and private sectors, and is recognized for his innovative, risk-taking approach to problem-solving.

In his personal life, he loves to rope and is a proud dad. He takes great pleasure in watching his children excel in school and sports and is a devoted supporter of his wife’s personal and professional endeavors.

Nahrgang has a strong connection to the University of Montana Western, where he has served as the Rodeo Club President, ASUMW President, Montana Associated Students (MAS) Vice President, Big Sky Region Student Director, and NIRA Student President. He is also a Big Sky Region Steer Wrestling Champion and a NIRA Steer Wrestling World Champion. Nahrgang currently serves as a member of the University of Montana Western Foundation Board.
