Robert James Monaco, possessed a passion for life. The Lord blessed Robert, at his young age, with an athletic talent and a love for sports, ranch life and the outdoors. Robert loved being everyone’s “helper”…always giving to others. We desire Robert’s memory, spirit and love to continue through helping students who embrace the same enthusiasms as Robert, thus the origin of this scholarship on what would have been his 7th birthday. Awarded to a Montana high school graduate (preference to Beaverhead County high school grad) with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Based on students Christian values, leadership, citizenship, desire to help others and need. Preference given to junior or senior education majors who participate in basketball with secondary preference to athletes in football or volleyball.
