Bio of Greg Stewart

A graduate of Beaverhead County High School, Greg Stewart spent most of his life in Dillon, where he was leading supporter of civic projects and a valued advocate for Montana Western's Industrial Arts program. He attended Montana Western and was a firm believer in practical application as a requisite for IA majors. Following Greg's untimely death due to an automobile accident in Idaho, his widow Jean donated a lot on Dillon's north side for the express purpose of providing home-building experience to WMC Industrial Arts students - fulfilling her husband's longtime wish. With the aid of local business firms, IA Professors Clay Anders and Dan Scott directed their students in construction of an attractive residential home which was later sold.
